Ryan Kearns is an American entrepreneur who runs his family business Fly Low Inc. He has come a long way in his entrepreneurial journey and accomplished many things, but the one he is most proud of is being a part of his family business and working alongside the people he loves while paving the way for future generations. Ryan describes one of the biggest challenges when starting a business as figuring out everything it takes to be an entrepreneur/business owner with minimal guidance.

Ryan found motivation to get started with his business from his friends and family. At Fly Low Inc, they have attracted many more “family” and friends with their hospitality and welcoming vibe. Ryan loves to learn and tries his best to spend 50% of his time teaching and 50% of his time listening. He has developed his goal-setting skills over the years and is able to teach what he has learned in a calm and coherent manner. The art of conversation and taking the time to connect with clients is very important and something that comes naturally to Ryan

The irony of Ryan’s ability to learn and teach stems from dropping out of high school when he was 16. This decision led him to start his first business called “KC Green and Snow” and employed his little brother. They were able to grow that little business quite a bit in a short amount of time. He goes on to say “It’s amazing how many people do not want to mow their lawns or shovel their driveways in Kansas and Missouri!” By using the money they had earned to invest into more advertising and equipment, Ryan Kearns and his brother were able to acquire more accounts! He has always worked hard to develop a strong mindset and positive attitude towards business.

When being asked the importance of mindset when it comes to starting a business, Ryan Kearns replied with “Mindset is everything. I approach any business transaction as if I am Michael Jordan in the finals. I know that I am going to dominate because I have practiced and prepared and no one is going to stop me! It helps that we have a lot of good players on our team.” Ryan’s advice for those trying to start their own business is to go for it and if you fail, you fail at 1,000 miles per hour. You will never know the true capabilities of your success unless you try to reach your goals. To learn more about Ryan Kearns and his business Fly Low Inc, click here.
